Stella Tiné MD, MSc is a PHD student in public health, option global health at the University of Montreal public health school in Canada. She did her medical training in Mali and completed a master’s degree in public health nutrition at University of Montreal. Stella has several years of experiences in planning and conducting medical outreach activities in the community and supporting reproductive health, surgery, internal medicine, pediatric, TB/HIV and nutrition in remote sittings. She has been working of international NGO like MSF and action against Hunger.

Stella research is mainly focused on improving access to health care for vulnerable groups and she has particular interest in the question on equity, access and gender. She is recipient of the Queen Elisabeth scholarship, aims to activate a dynamic community of young global health leaders that create lasting impact at home and abroad.
